Unzaga square in Eibar was the setting for the inaugural NorthFit Hybrid HK Eibar competition, which successfully merged crossfit with traditional rural sports, drawing approximately 120 participants.

This unique event combined classic crossfit exercises with rural sport modalities such as lokots biltzea (corn cob gathering), txingas (weight carrying), and lasto altzatzea (hay bale lifting). Competitors navigated through six stations, with three of them featuring an alternating sequence of crossfit and herri kirolak challenges.
Throughout the demanding course, participants engaged with dumbbells, heavy bales, stationary bikes, ski erg machines, rowers, kettlebells, and box jumps. Adding to the intensity, transitions between exercise sets included a 500-meter run through the urban center.
The competition was structured into mixed pairs and trio categories. In the mixed pairs category, victory went to Lebi (Anikote and Goiena), with Ureta (CFE Eibar) and Baliko Porruak (Bali Sport Center) tying for second place. In the two men and one woman team category, Team 7 of Kakashi (CFE Eibar) emerged victorious, followed by Rajopa (Denontzat) in second and Mar y Quitas (Lama, Sua, and Basoa) in third.
Finally, in the two women and one man category, Flato al fallo (Crossfit Eibar) secured the win, with Negartegia (Ordizia Academy) taking second place and Nos pareció una buena idea (Norobox) finishing third.
