The Department of Social Services of Eibar City Council has managed 214 vulnerability reports in the first three days of the extraordinary regularization process for foreign nationals, addressing significant demand.

In the initial days of the extraordinary regularization process for foreign nationals, the Department of Social Services of Eibar City Council has issued 214 vulnerability reports. These reports are essential for individuals to qualify for the regularization process and were processed between Monday and Wednesday.
The start of the process on Monday saw the highest influx, with approximately 270 people attended, about half of whom were directly related to this procedure. So far, individuals from 24 different countries have received assistance, with Morocco and Colombia being the most represented among those requesting the report.

"Each procedure involves diverse personal situations, so the municipal objective is to ensure that no one is left without the necessary information or support at a crucial time."

The service will remain active until June 30, when the extraordinary regularization process will conclude. Eibar City Council reminds the public that the service will continue to operate without prior appointment, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, on a first-come, first-served basis.
The City Council has highlighted the constant coordination between Pegora and the Department of Social Services in responding to the high demand registered since the start of the process. According to municipal sources, this coordination is crucial for ensuring adequate attention and better guidance throughout the process. Furthermore, they have indicated that this system will continue to adapt to the evolution of demand in the coming weeks, with the aim of maintaining an orderly, humane, and efficient service.

"The model adopted by the department responds to a dual purpose. On the one hand, it seeks to offer agile and effective attention to those who need the vulnerability report and, on the other, to guarantee the proper functioning of all social services aimed at citizens."
