Camargo has caused a surprise in Mutriku waters. In the third stage of the ARC-2 league, the boat Virgen del Carmen has ended Castro's dominance and secured the Bandera Unebide. The Castro crew set the best early references, but the winners, with a time of 20 minutes, 47 seconds, and eight hundredths, ultimately surpassed La Marinera by seven seconds and 34 hundredths.
Mutriku itself finished in sixth position in their home regatta and holds the same spot in the overall standings after three stages.
In the general classification, Castro remains the leader with 23 points, one more than Camargo, with Portugalete in third place.
The fourth stage of the ARC-2 will take place next Saturday on the Bilbao estuary (11:00 AM).
