New Traffic Lights to be Installed at Arriaga Polygon Entrance in Elgoibar

Tomorrow, work will commence to install traffic lights at the entrance of the Arriaga Polygon, aiming to enhance traffic management and safety.

Tomorrow marks the beginning of the installation of traffic lights at the entrance of the Arriaga Polygon in Elgoibar. This project has been jointly tendered by the Elgoibar City Council and the Gipuzkoa Provincial Council. The design was created by companies Girder and Sener, and the construction will be carried out by Otegi Gaztañaga S.L.
The project has a budget of 166,974.14 euros (excluding VAT) and an estimated execution period of 12 weeks. Installation work, including setting up temporary structures, signage, and site organization, will begin today.
The new traffic lights are intended to improve traffic organization in the area and significantly enhance safety for both pedestrians and vehicles.
The Elgoibar City Council apologizes for any inconvenience the works may cause and urges citizens to pay attention to the construction signage.
