A family from Luiaondo has reported that their parrot was stolen. They explained to Aiaraldea Komunikabidea that they are unsure how the theft occurred, but a neighbor informed them about a car seen near the house, which then sped off towards Laudio.
According to this witness account, the vehicle had tinted windows and was an old grey Ford Mondeo. The family members added that the top part of the cage was taken.
“"It knows how to say many words. It was known in the town because it would always say something or whistle when people passed by."
The family has provided a phone number (667 24 56 75) for the public to contact them if they have any information. The animal's owners are deeply distressed by the incident, as the parrot had been with them for 28 years.
