The assembly to vote on the continuation of the strike at the Tubos Reunidos plant in Amurrio began this morning in a highly tense atmosphere, with a significant presence of the Ertzaintza and safety warnings issued to the media.

The meeting to vote on the continuation of the strike at the Tubos Reunidos company was scheduled for nine o'clock this morning at the Amurrio plant. From early hours, tension was palpable due to the significant presence of the Ertzaintza.
The Ertzaintza has deployed six mobile brigade vehicles and another six cars around the factory. Police have spoken with the workers, indicating that the morning would proceed "according to the parameters resolved by the Ertzaintza".
The Works Council stated that the Ertzaintza seemed to be looking for excuses to prevent workers from entering the assembly, despite the picket remaining within the established line. Numerous media outlets, such as El Correo, EITB, RTVE, and El Mundo, have also arrived at the scene.

"The Ertzaintza has just informed journalists that their auditory safety cannot be guaranteed, as strikers have pyrotechnics and a lot of noise is expected."
