PNV to Meet European Commission Over Tubos Reunidos Situation

A delegation from the PNV will meet this Wednesday with representatives of the European Commission to discuss the situation of Tubos Reunidos and the Employment Regulation File (ERE) affecting 240 employees.

The meeting will take place with representatives from the Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG Grow) of the European Commission. The purpose is to analyze Tubos Reunidos' viability plan and the proposed ERE, which will impact 240 workers.
According to the party, the delegation will include the president of the Araba Buru Batzar (ABB), the parliamentarian and mayor of Amurrio, and a Member of the European Parliament. Amurrio is a town where one of Tubos Reunidos' plants is located.
Following the meeting, the mayor of Amurrio is expected to make statements regarding the outcomes of the discussion, providing further information on the company's future.
