The PNV of Laudio has criticized the municipal government's approach, stating that instead of merely offering suggestions at the Aiaraldea Industrial Development Board, the local institution should implement projects focused on sustainability and reducing energy consumption.

According to the main opposition party, no solar panels have been installed in public facilities since the current municipal government took office. Furthermore, they highlighted that upgrading public lighting with LED technology is insufficient, as these actions are confined to the sports center and the Ellakuri football field and track facilities, projects that were, moreover, initiated during the previous legislature.

"The only actions are limited to the sports center and the Ellakuri football field and track facilities. These projects, furthermore, began in the previous legislature. There has been no real commitment to extend this measure to the entire municipality."

The PNV has accused the municipal government of repeatedly demanding accountability from other institutions, recalling contributions made in neighborhood assemblies. The party stressed that while it is good to discuss energy sovereignty, efficiency, or consumption reduction, it is essential to lead by example first.
