According to the main opposition party, no solar panels have been installed in public facilities since the current municipal government took office. Furthermore, they highlighted that upgrading public lighting with LED technology is insufficient, as these actions are confined to the sports center and the Ellakuri football field and track facilities, projects that were, moreover, initiated during the previous legislature.

The PNV has accused the municipal government of repeatedly demanding accountability from other institutions, recalling contributions made in neighborhood assemblies. The party stressed that while it is good to discuss energy sovereignty, efficiency, or consumption reduction, it is essential to lead by example first.
