Families of the Laudio Goikoa school have labeled the Education Department's management as 'chaotic', reporting improvised proposals and a lack of clarity concerning the school's future.

Families of the Laudio Goikoa school have issued a statement criticizing the Education Department's management, accusing it of creating "improvisation" and "chaos" regarding the school's future.
Specifically, parents mentioned receiving individual calls for students in the ZIG class, proposing a transfer to the Zaraobe center in Amurrio, a location for which the project itself is currently uncertain.
Meanwhile, families in the Autonomy Project were informed on Monday that this class would be temporarily maintained in the upper building, but confined to a single space that does not respect student ratios, even though ratios are not being met at Laudio Goikoa.
For those undertaking Vocational Training cycles, parents stated they have received no proposals and that silence prevails. They believe this lack of knowledge about the future leaves them in a state of vulnerability.
Furthermore, they highlighted that the Department has refused to adapt the upper building for a future student's wheelchair, pointing out accessibility issues.
The families recalled that the Education Department had initially announced the closure of Laudio Goikoa, but reversed the decision after public mobilization, although the school's future remains unclear.
