The Ertzaintza arrested a 23-year-old man in Arrankudiaga-Zollo on Sunday afternoon during a routine alcohol and drug checkpoint, after discovering he was driving a vehicle stolen in Bilbao without a valid license.

The driver was stopped at a standard control, and officers quickly realized the car was not his. After verifying the vehicle's origin, it was confirmed that it had been stolen in Bilbao.
Furthermore, the arrested individual tested positive for drugs and did not possess a driving license. Consequently, the police charged him with vehicle theft and a crime against road safety for driving without the required documentation.
The man was brought before the court on the same Sunday. The Ertzaintza stated that the young man already has similar prior offenses.
