The draft project for the renovation of Jesus Guridi square in Laudio will be discussed in a municipal committee soon, as explained by the mayor, Ainize Gastaka, in a statement to Aiaraldea Komunikabidea. The mayor indicated that the matter would be addressed in the next session with opposition groups.
Gastaka stated that the main opposition party had taken steps knowing they were about to be completed, mentioning that they were finalizing the draft project with the company. Meanwhile, an EH Bildu representative accused the PNV of using the issue to create noise, claiming they were informed two weeks prior to the latest press release that it would be addressed in a committee.

Although the project will be ready by July, a meeting with the residents of Jesus Guridi square will not be convened until September. The mayor believes that holding the assembly during the summer holidays would not ensure adequate participation.
