EH Bildu has denounced the latest incidents on Renfe's C3 line and called for measures to improve the state of the public service.

As has become common recently, yesterday also saw disruptions on Renfe's C3 line. The service, which connects Aiaraldea with Bilbao and the Hego Uribe region, experienced train delays and cancellations. Furthermore, the section between Ollargan and Abando was out of service for a period in the afternoon, and some station display screens were also damaged.
To protest the situation, EH Bildu has issued a statement, declaring the C3 line's condition to be serious. The party emphasized that yesterday's event should not be seen in isolation but as "another example of the structural problems the line has been facing for a long time."

"The train is a "basic public service" and it is "unacceptable" that disruptions directly affecting citizens' mobility and quality of life continue to occur."

Last week, the mayors of Laudio and Arrigorriaga held a press conference to demand a "modern, safe, accessible, and dignified" service, and proposed specific improvements. Now, they have called on Renfe and Adif to take responsibility and act in a coordinated manner.
The party has announced that they will promote institutional initiatives in the Juntas Generales, the Basque Parliament, and the Congress of Deputies, and will also launch social mobilization dynamics.
