Two Men Arrested in Forua for Cable Theft at Kortezubi Municipal Facilities

The Ertzaintza has arrested two men in Forua, following citizen collaboration, for the theft of cable and a trolley from the municipal facilities of Kortezubi Town Hall, an incident that occurred this Tuesday.

On Tuesday, Ertzaintza officers were informed that two suspicious individuals were in Forua with a trolley full of cable and tools. Shortly thereafter, reports indicated that a municipal premises belonging to Kortezubi Town Hall had been forced open, and a trolley and wiring were missing.
Patrols dispatched to Forua located and identified the two suspects. After confirming they were in possession of a trolley bearing the inscription of Kortezubi Town Hall and the aforementioned items, they were arrested for a crime of robbery with force.
The stolen items were returned to the Town Hall staff. The two detainees were taken to police facilities and are expected to appear before a judge in the coming hours.
