With the aim of promoting egalitarian and non-sexist festivities, the Urnieta City Council will set up an information and attention point on September 25th and 26th. Both days, this point will be located at the Gazteleku (Plazido Muxika Square), operating from 7:00 PM until 4:00 AM.
Regarding traffic, several restrictions will be in place. On September 24th, due to a 'goitiberas' (soapbox derby) competition passing through Errekalde and Akan streets, parking will be limited in these areas. Furthermore, the parking area on Errekalde street will be closed from September 23rd to October 1st to accommodate the fairground attractions.
Idiazabal street will also see changes: it will be closed from September 26th to 27th (Saturday to Sunday morning) and from October 3rd to 4th (Saturday afternoon to Sunday morning), in the section between the Itsaspe wall and Kandela bar. Additionally, from September 25th to 29th (24 hours) and on October 2nd (at night), traffic from the Etxeberri roundabout towards San Joan Square will be diverted via Maximo Yurramendi street.
Access to San Joan Square from Arantzubi will also be affected near number 11 San Joan street, and entry to Azkorte street will need to be made from Geltoki street in an upward direction.
Concerning the bus service, while the closures on Idiazabal street are in effect, two new bus stops will be established: one at the roundabout near the Casa de las Asociaciones and another at the Ermotegi-Langarda roundabout.
