Oihan Etxeberria was the standout player in the final of the Ajangiz Amateur Hand-Pelota Championship, where he and Goikoetxea defeated Nazabal-Apeztegia by a score of 22-14.

The player from Oiartzun, partnered with Goikoetxea – who replaced Julen Sotil, originally scheduled for the tournament – achieved victory in an exciting match. The winning pair overcame Nazabal and Apeztegia with a final score of 22-14.
Other categories also saw champions crowned: Leitza-Iglesias (junior), Larrazabal-Goitia (sub-junior), Bengoetxea-Zabala (children), and Goikoetxea-Benito (women's). The young Xuban Bengoetxea in the children's category particularly impressed with his high level of play.
Thus, Etxeberria from Gipuzkoa, one of the promising talents pre-contracted by Baiko Pilota, has triumphed in a competition that featured notable names such as Unax Apeztegia, Harkaitz Murua, and Oier Elorz, all within the sphere of the Bilbao-based company, whose sports management is led by Aimar Olaizola. Nazabal, for his part, started well but accumulated too many errors towards the end of the match.
Regarding the results of the other finals, Leitza-Iglesias defeated Basterretxea-Legarra (17-18), Larrazabal-Goitia prevailed over Oihan-Peio (8-18), Bengoetxea-Zabala overcame Narbaiza-Jurdan (7-18), and Goikoetxea-Benito had to fight hard to beat the Arrizabalaga sisters (18-16).
This twelfth edition of the Ajangiz Pelota Championship has concluded with a magnificent flourish.
