The municipality of Errigoiti, participating in the Kirolur program, has secured the fourth position in the first week of the spring challenge, standing out among 60 municipalities in Bizkaia with 34 registered and 22 active individuals.

The municipality of Errigoiti has vigorously commenced the spring challenge of the Kirolur program, achieving a remarkable fourth place among the 60 participating municipalities in Bizkaia during the initial week. With 34 individuals registered, and 22 of them actively engaged, the town has demonstrated significant commitment.

"Kirolur is not just about exercising; it's an opportunity to establish ourselves as a healthy municipality. It's a guided project that facilitates the creation of routines and improves lifestyle, both individually and collectively. We are a small, rural municipality of barely 600 inhabitants, and having reached fourth position in an initiative of this nature in just one week gives us visibility in the territory and strengthens pride in our town."

The Errigoiti City Council recognized Kirolur as a valuable opportunity to reinforce its commitment to promoting physical activity among residents of all ages, encouraging each person to engage in the sport or activity best suited to their interests. The current objective is clear: to continue adding participants and points to aim for the top positions in the ranking.
Participating in Kirolur and accumulating active kilometers not only contributes to individual and collective health but also offers rewards. The winning municipality will receive a financial prize, which will be invested in a gift for its participants. Furthermore, the first 22 individuals from Errigoiti who reach 150 points will receive a practical Kirolur branded water bottle.

"The prizes are an incentive, but the true reward is improving health. Therefore, from the City Council, we encourage all residents, of any age, to download the WELLK application and move for their health and for Errigoiti."
