Summer-like weather is set to dominate Bizkaia this week, bringing significantly higher temperatures. Both Aemet and Euskalmet have issued forecasts, indicating that thermometers could reach 31 degrees in Bilbao.
The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has announced that the coming week will feature "unusual" heat, caused by the presence of "extraordinarily warm" air masses. As a result, temperatures exceeding thirty degrees are expected in the Bizkaia territory, particularly in Bilbao.
For Tuesday, April 21, Aemet forecasts up to 31 degrees in the capital of Bizkaia, with minimums of 14 degrees. Meanwhile, the Basque Meteorological Agency (Euskalmet) has slightly lowered this prediction, indicating maximums of 26 degrees and minimums of 12 degrees.
According to Euskalmet, Wednesday will be the hottest day of the week, with temperatures potentially reaching 28 degrees.
