Pedrosa appeared before the Basque Parliament at the request of the PP party to clarify data regarding the high number of failures, including zeros, obtained by students from educational centers, mostly subsidized schools using model A in Bizkaia. Data provided by the EHU to her Department indicates that out of 168 zero grades, 108 were accumulated in tribunals 11 and 12, accounting for 64.3% of the total.
Specifically, tribunal 11 accounted for 80 zero grades (47.4%). The minister emphasized as "particularly relevant" that in this tribunal, all but one of the exercises receiving a zero were evaluated "by a single person" assigned to a specific alphabetical range.
This clarification was requested following concerns raised by the PP regarding the PAU results, particularly the high failure rates observed in subsidized schools in Bizkaia.
