Nearly 100,000 People Have Benefited from Minimum Vital Income in Euskadi

The Minimum Vital Income (IMV) has reached 99,130 individuals in Euskadi from its launch in June 2020 until March 2026, with 34.7% of beneficiaries being minors.

In Euskadi, the Minimum Vital Income (IMV) has benefited 99,130 people since its implementation in June 2020 until last March, with 34.7% of these beneficiaries being minors.

According to data from the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration, a total of 99,130 people have received the IMV in Euskadi since its inception. Of this figure, 38,440 are minors, representing 34.7% of all beneficiaries.
This aid has been received by 54,240 women and 44,740 men. Regarding age distribution, 60,690 beneficiaries are adults, while 38,440 are minors.
By territory, Bizkaia accounts for the majority of recipients, with 50,713 people. It is followed by Gipuzkoa, with 25,983 beneficiaries, and Álava, with 22,434 people.
Of all individuals who have accessed the IMV in the Basque Autonomous Community since its launch, 72,760 were still receiving it in March, with an average amount of 677 euros per household.
