The firm defines itself as a boutique real estate group with a 360º approach: instead of accumulating a catalogue, it selects properties one by one and accompanies the client throughout the entire process, with international marketing and a concierge service for those buying or selling from afar.
The group currently operates in two very different and complementary territories, the Val d'Aran and the Costa Brava, with the high mountains and the Mediterranean representing two facets of the same idea: homes designed to stay in, not just pass through. The company is also preparing its expansion into Barcelona and Lleida.
Its method of making itself known also deviates from the norm in the sector. In addition to its own portal, Kirwen Real Estate engages with lifestyle content on Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and X, and even has a podcast, focusing on showcasing how life is lived in each territory rather than just publishing property listings.
The company's next milestone is not a development, but a book. In November, its founder, Keith Kirwen, will publish The Call of Catalonia – The World's Greatest Place, his first work, which will be released in four languages: Catalan, Spanish, English, and Aranese.
“"I primarily live in the Val d'Aran, and it was very important for me to also include our local language."
The decision to also publish in Aranese speaks volumes about the company's approach: selling a home in a valley of 10,000 inhabitants requires understanding the valley, not just the market.
Properties available in the Val d'Aran and Costa Brava, as well as the group's team and services, can be found on their website.
