The Igorre City Council has organized for the third consecutive year workshops on loss and mourning processes. The events will take place on April 10 and 11 at the town's cultural center and municipal library. All activities will be bilingual, in Basque and Spanish, and admission will be free until full capacity is reached.
The main activity of this edition will be the screening of the documentary Suminetik bakera, this Friday at 7:30 PM in Lasarte Aretoa. The work features the testimonies of Olatz Etxabe, daughter of Iñaki Etxabe, murdered by the Batallón Vasco Español, and Sandra Carrasco, daughter of Isaías Carrasco, the socialist councilor murdered by ETA. Through their stories, it proposes «a journey from anger and pain to peace, inviting collective reflection on coexistence and respect», with narration by Koldo Rodríguez and Naia Egiluz and live music by the group Mudoh.
