According to the Basque Meteorological Agency, Euskalmet, the municipality in Bizkaia that recorded the most precipitation in ten minutes was Mungia, with 11.7 liters per square meter. This was followed by Galdakao, with 10 liters per square meter; Bermeo, with 8.8; Abusu, with 8.0; and Sangroniz, with 7.1 liters per square meter.
The Security Department of the Basque Government had activated a yellow alert early on Friday, anticipating stormy showers that could discharge more than 15 liters per square meter in just one hour. For today, a combination of hail, with a diameter of between 1 and 2 centimeters, and strong wind gusts that could reach 70 km/h is expected.
