Animal communicator Clara Martín, founder of Amanaturis, published When Animals Speak to Us in June with Grijalbo, one of Penguin Random House's imprints. The central idea of the book goes against common belief. According to Martín, communication with animals is not a power reserved for a few. It is a natural ability that we all possess, even if we have forgotten it or have not yet discovered it.
The book compiles what she has learned over more than 15 years of work and over 16,000 consultations. Martín explains what happens in the brain when we connect with an animal, the role emotions play in the bond, and how to create a space to truly listen. She does this based on her training: she holds a Master's degree in Neuroscience from the Complutense University of Madrid. Everything is organized according to the ALMA Method (Activation, Language, Message, Opening), the system she created herself, which she defines as "neuro-energetic" communication.
When Animals Speak to Us is more than just a reading book. It includes exclusive audiovisual content, with meditations, anecdotes, exercises, and practical tips, so that the reader can practice from the first chapter.
In addition to writing, Clara directs Amanaturis Academy, an online community where hundreds of students learn to communicate with their own animals. From there, she also teaches a Master's program to train professional animal communicators, and with this community, she won the international Skool Games competition. The book is available in bookstores and online platforms.
