The Civil Guard has arrested a 76-year-old man for transporting drugs for a network operating between Bizkaia and Navarra, as part of 'Operation Bibodeak'.

The Civil Guard dismantled a drug trafficking route operating from Euskadi to Navarra in Bizkaia on March 17. As a result of 'Operation Bibodeak', four people have been arrested, including the 76-year-old man responsible for transporting the narcotic substances between the two autonomous communities.
Investigators had filmed the veteran offender entering the single-family home in the Nocedal neighborhood of Ortuella, from which the drugs were distributed. Shortly after, agents intercepted the suspect while he was conducting a drug transaction with another man in the Navarrese town of Mendigorria.
In addition to the arrest of the two men, the Civil Guard prevented one kilogram of amphetamine sulfate (speed), one kilogram of hashish, and 100 grams of cocaine from reaching the illegal market. The proceedings of this operation were placed at the disposal of the Civil and Instruction Section of Tafalla, which ordered the entry and search of the house in Ortuella where the narcotic substances were stored.
As a result of the police operation, a couple living in the dwelling and storing the drugs were arrested, as stated by the Civil Guard in an informative note released this Tuesday. Agents seized 22 kilograms of speed, 2.5 kilograms of cocaine, three kilograms of hashish, 75 grams of marijuana, and 25 grams of 'pink cocaine'.
This latter drug, also known as tusi, is an amalgam of different types of substances such as ketamine, ecstasy, and caffeine, which cause serious health damage to the consumer. Additionally, three vehicles, several mobile phones, and 38,600 euros in cash have been made available to the judicial authorities.
