An unbearable situation caused by noise pollution has led a Bilbao resident to leave his home three times. This ongoing issue has profoundly affected his health and personal life, to the extent that he now requires medication.
To highlight his plight, the affected individual created a Youtube channel, named Bilbao, capital del ruido, where he uploaded over 400 sound videos documenting the ambient noise. These videos have also been used in his formal complaint, despite the personal toll of recording them.

His first departure was in early 2023, when he sought refuge in Las Hurdes for three months. Since then, he has been on prescribed medication. On the other two occasions, the most recent being last summer, he fled upon learning of the City Council's event schedule.
Doctors have indicated that the resident only experiences significant improvement when he stays at a property he purchased in Cantabria, far from the primary source of the problem. Acquaintances confirm that his personality has shifted, transforming him from an affable person into someone more reclusive.
