The Bilbao Municipal Police has initiated a surveillance and control campaign for taxi and VTC vehicle licenses, which will run throughout the week across all city districts, with a particular focus on nightlife areas.

This campaign will be in effect until next Sunday and will be carried out in all districts of Bilbao. As reported by the Bilbao City Council, surveillance will be especially reinforced in nightlife zones, primarily during the weekend.
Controls on these types of vehicles will not be static, unlike other campaigns focusing on aspects such as seat belts, breathalyzer tests, or documentation. This is because both taxis and VTC vehicles circulate freely throughout the Vizcayan capital, necessitating a more dynamic surveillance strategy.
