At a concert held at Dabadaba, Donostia, on June 2nd, the bands Barrrk, Mostaza Karizia, and Prison Affair showcased their distinct styles and attitudes.

On Friday, May 16th, the day was long and eventful before reaching the Dabadaba concert. After a late start in the morning, experiencing a car breakdown, a presentation, a change of plans, rain, running out of battery and needing to change cars, having some pintxos, lunch, another breakdown that was supposedly fixed, a few political interviews, and a couple of drinks, they arrived at Dabadaba.
Barrrk kicked off the performance. The venue resembled an endearing scene from a summer romantic movie, filmed in the evening sunlight. The band created a cheerful atmosphere, launching a Keler bottle into the air and celebrating life's beauty, singing a chorus of their most famous song, in English no less.
With Mostaza Karizia, the atmosphere shifted entirely, taking on a more realistic feel. This group of young people from Lasarte-Oria (Gipuzkoa) plays punk, evident in their music, attire, and attitude. The addition of keyboards to the bass, guitar, drums, and vocalist format brought a unique freshness, offering fun and authentic songs about youth's daily life, concerns, and jokes. They proved to be a fitting opening act for Prison Affair, both in style and vibe.
When the Catalans, Prison Affair, took the stage, the visuals on the backdrop were quite distinctive, generally very phallocentric. The presence of penises in their imagery, on their t-shirts, and frequently in their lyrics created an eccentric, playful element, either to mock or celebrate this focus on the phallus, without any pretense.
The flow of band members Alvaro, Adri, and Rafa can be described as 'skineto ravero'. Their style resembles that of an Oi! band, but with subtle touches of party-goers one might find at a parking lot gathering. Their music could be similarly characterized. The opening riffs electrified Dabadaba, with five songs played consecutively without the dancing stopping. Following a brief introduction, there were quotes about prison and the song 'Apuñalamiento, pero entre colegas'. It was madness, feet in the air, and a frenetic movement of heads, hands, and legs that lasted throughout the concert. An spontaneous kiss between them and the final riffs marked the end of the performance.
