Antzuola is set to be a hub for sporting activity this Saturday, hosting two cycling events for schoolchildren: a morning time trial and an afternoon urban circuit race.

Cycling takes center stage in Antzuola this Saturday. Starting at 12:00 PM, the time trial to Irala will take place, organized by Aiastui T.E. Participants will tackle a one-kilometer course from Antigua to Irala in the time trial format. This event marks the third scoring race in the regularity challenge.
In the afternoon, as part of the school sports program, children from Debabarrena, Debagoiena, and other regions will compete in a cycling race. Organized by Lokatza Ziklismo Eskola, young cyclists will race from 4:30 PM onwards on an urban circuit with the start and finish line at the Plaza. The youngest categories, benjamines, alevines, and infantiles, will complete varying numbers of laps.
Cycling schools from clubs based in these regions will attend the race. This is the second promotional event organized by Lokatza in 2026 within the school category, following the one held in Labegaraieta. The Gipuzkoa school competition is structured into three zones: Donostialdea, Tolosaldea, and Goierri-Deba, catering to children aged 9 to 14. In the westernmost demarcation of the territory, covering Debarroa, Urola Garaia, and Erdia, the participating clubs include Goierri KE, Peña Elorza, Elgoibarko LT, Lokatza ZE, Aloña Mendi KE, Dorletako Ama TxE, and Atxukale Txirrindu Taldea.
