The Irun City Council will illuminate the facade of the City Hall in yellow on the night of the upcoming Wednesday, September 30th, to mark International Specific Language Disorder Day (SLD). This initiative is in response to a request from the Association of Families and Friends of People with Specific Language Disorder (TEL - Euskadi).
This action aims to raise awareness about the reality of this condition, which involves difficulties in acquiring, developing, and using oral language, and consequently, written language. It cannot be attributed to hearing impairment, non-verbal low intelligence, or neurological damage.
