The Culture Service of the Irun City Council announces that the enrollment period for the Academy of Drawing and Painting and the Municipal Ceramics Workshop is open until next Monday, September 21st. From October 1st to June 19th, 2027, citizens will have access to a variety of drawing and painting courses, as well as ceramics workshops, to enhance their creativity through different techniques.
The Academy of Drawing and Painting courses are designed for adults, children aged 6 to 12, and young people aged 12 to 18, with various schedules. The Ceramics Workshop will be offered on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, in both morning and afternoon sessions.
Interested individuals can complete their enrollment until September 21st through the electronic headquarters of Irun, using an electronic certificate. Contact phone numbers (695 75 29 94 / 606 22 04 17) and an email address are also provided for the Academy.
If the number of applications exceeds the available places, a lottery will be held on September 23rd, with results published on the municipal website on the 24th. Options include single enrollment (two hours per week) or double enrollment (four hours per week), with payment in one or two installments. Basic materials will be included in the enrollment fee.
The fee for the Ceramics Workshop, running from October to June, can be paid in a single installment or two. Additionally, the Irun City Council reminds the public that from 2026, a system of payment based on economic capacity will be applied to certain municipal services and activities, with four tiers established (%5, %35, %75, or %100).
The Academy of Drawing and Painting is an open, inclusive space for meeting and enjoyment, where individuals with diverse experiences and interests can learn. Participants will be able to learn naturalistic drawing and painting through a classic academic approach, while also discovering their own artistic language via experimental exercises and personal projects.
The Municipal Ceramics Workshop offers a wide range of possibilities for those wishing to explore the world of ceramics, starting from a playful approach focused on enjoyment through artistic activity.
