Final preparations are underway for the opening of a new bookstore in Irun, which will occupy the emblematic premises on Alfonso Morales street, in the Pío XII area, previously home to the Huellas shoe store.

A commercial space at the corner of Alfonso Morales and Serapio Múgica streets in Irun is set to regain its vibrancy. This location has been vacant since the closure of the historic Huellas shoe store.
According to Mugan, Irun's merchants' association, the space has already begun its transformation to become a new bookstore, thereby enriching the city's cultural offerings.

"Great news for the neighborhood and for the entire area around Pío XII Square, which will recover commercial activity and add a new space dedicated to books, culture, and education."

This upcoming opening will not only revitalize the area but also strengthen its cultural and educational character, complementing the work of the Amaia Cultural Center and nearby educational institutions such as Pío Baroja Institute, Bidasoa Institute, and La Salle.
