Irun will host nine concerts in October, headlined by Huecco and Carlos Sadness, for the ninth edition of the Irun Zuzenean Zikloa. The event's main stage will be the Irun Zuzenean Hall at the CBA Center for Culture and Creativity, featuring seven additional artists and groups.
This year's lineup includes artists such as Jimena Amarillo, Biznaga, Pipiolas, La Paloma, La Habitación Roja, Garazi Esnaola, and Amaia Miranda. Organizers have highlighted that "the change in format has opened new possibilities, and this year, with nine concerts, we will have the opportunity to enjoy live music every Saturday in October".
The performances will take place on Saturdays, October 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31. The opening concert, by Huecco, will be free at San Juan Plaza. The remaining shows will be held at the Irun Zuzenean Hall in the CBA. Tickets will be available for purchase from August 7 on the municipal website.
The program will cover various styles, including rock, alternative pop, folk, electronic, and indie sounds. On October 3, the cycle will kick off with Huecco's concert. On the 10th, Jimena Amarillo and Biznaga will perform. On the 17th, it will be the turn of Pipiolas and Carlos Sadness, and on the 24th, La Paloma and La Habitación Roja. On the 31st, Garazi Esnaola and Amaia Miranda will close the festival.
Culture delegate Nuria Alzaga emphasized that "Irun Zuzenean combines artists with established careers, new voices from the scene, and emerging talent. This diversity is one of its hallmarks, allowing us to reach different audiences while maintaining the unique identity this cycle has built over nine years".
