Visesa and the Hondarribia City Council have inaugurated the new 65-space outdoor parking lot in Presa I, which will be available to citizens starting this Thursday.

Carlos Quindós, General Director of Visesa, and Igor Enparan, Mayor of Hondarribia, attended the inauguration of the new parking facility located in Presa I. The area offers 55 outdoor parking spaces and an additional 10 on Biteri street, with two spaces adapted for people with reduced mobility.
This initiative is part of the collaboration agreement signed between the Hondarribia City Council and Visesa for the development of 66 subsidized rental housing units, currently in the final construction phase. Under this agreement, the City Council granted Visesa the land free of charge for the housing project and covered 15% of the final construction costs. In return, it was agreed, among other points, that the parking area would be managed by the municipality.
The parking lot covers approximately 1,780 m², including the parking area, a cycle path, sidewalks, and a green zone. It has been designed to facilitate parking maneuvers and executed with textured printed asphalt. Furthermore, trees have been planted to integrate it into the environment and soften its visual impact.
