The festival's organizer, a renowned musician born in Lleida, has been leading this event for 24 years and strives each year to introduce new elements to surprise the public. In his words, maintaining success is a significant challenge, which is why he always seeks to offer something different.
The musician was a teacher at the Irun Conservatory for many years, and due to his strong connection with Bidasoaldea, he considers Hondarribia his second home. For this reason, he has chosen this town as the main venue for the festival, highlighting its atmosphere and excellent reception.

The festival's objective is not economic profit but cultural promotion. For this reason, the support of the Hondarribia City Council has been fundamental since its inception. The council, despite changes in mayors, has always backed the event, even during the 2008 and 2009 crises and the pandemic, making contributions according to its possibilities.
