The Eguzki cadet team has had a formidable start to the season, dominating opponents and showcasing a high level of play in both the Euskal Kopa and the League.

The Eguzki cadet team has kicked off the season with significant momentum in both the Euskal Kopa and the League. On April 25, they played their first Euskal Kopa match at the Maialen Chourraut sports center, facing the Artaromo team from Getxo. The home team displayed clear superiority, establishing an early 4-0 lead. Although their opponents attempted to close the gap (4-2 and 6-3), Eguzki effectively maintained their advantage, ultimately winning with a 7-4 score.
A day later, they competed in a League match at the Michelin sports complex against Irun Futsal. In this encounter, the Eguzki players once again gave no opportunities to the Irun team, securing a decisive 13-2 victory. These wins highlight the team's excellent form and their high aspirations for the current season.
Beyond the cadet team, other representatives from the Eguzki club also achieved positive results, with all teams except the Honor Division squad securing victories. This reflects the overall strong performance across the club.
Meanwhile, the Euskadi U-12 selection continues its preparations for the Spanish Inter-Community Championship, scheduled to take place in Madrid in May. On April 27, they held a new training session at the Lauro ikastola in Loiu, Bizkaia. Players Peru Azkarate and Noel Benitez from Eguzki AF were called up and played against the Jarrilleros team, contributing to the selection's preparation.
