The Ertzaintza has arrested a 19-year-old man and a 14-year-old minor in Irun as alleged perpetrators of a mobile phone theft and a violent robbery of an electric scooter, as reported by the Department of Security.

The incidents took place on Saturday night, around 10:20 PM, when a group of individuals approached some young people, and one of them snatched a mobile phone from a girl's hand. Simultaneously, another person stole an electric scooter after struggling with its 14-year-old owner, who required medical attention at a health center.
The first suspect, aged 19, was apprehended during his escape by relatives of the victim who were nearby. Upon the arrival of officers, the young man was arrested, and the mobile phone was recovered and returned to its owner. During this operation, the sister of the second victim appeared with the scooter, which had been returned by a friend of the perpetrators, who were subsequently located in the vicinity.
The minor who had struggled with the owner and snatched the scooter was arrested, while two other minors, aged 14 and 17, who received it, are listed as investigated in the proceedings. The minors have since been released, awaiting summons by judicial authorities, while the adult remained at the police station on Sunday morning, awaiting a declaration before the judge.
