Zeberio's Sandoniak festivals will take place from September 2nd to 7th, featuring a mountain excursion to Castilla y León, a clown performance, and road repairs in local neighborhoods.

The municipality of Zeberio is gearing up for its Sandoniak festivals, scheduled from September 2nd to 7th. The Austarri Mountain Club has organized an excursion for the 13th to visit the peaks of Muriel and Cantonada, a route that was previously canceled last year. The 14-kilometer trek will offer participants the chance to see the source of the Kadagua River and visit an old wolf trap.
Furthermore, on the first official day of the festivities, the renowned clowns Porrotx, Marimotots, Pupu, and Lore will perform their show 'Zerua lapurtu dute' (They've Stolen the Sky), aimed at younger audiences. The event will take place in the town square at 6:00 PM.
The City Council, meanwhile, will allocate 116,000 euros to repair roads in several neighborhoods within the municipality. These works will be carried out in the areas of Gezala, Elorrea, Undurraga, Solatxi, Bekolanda, and Zubialde, with funding from the Provincial Council of Bizkaia. The objective is to fill existing potholes and improve the roads.
The Youth Association has also prepared its own program of activities at the Gazte Txosna, including a fire bull, DJ sets, couple games, and a 'Marianito' pintxo competition. Additionally, on the night of September 5th, a free taxi service will operate between Ugao and Igoa from 9:00 PM to 3:00 AM. Those wishing to use the service should call 609 610 855.
