Biocentric Educator Training in the Basque Country

The Universidad Biocéntrica promotes a new training program for Biocentric Educators in the Basque Country

This September 12th and 13th, a new edition of the Biocentric Educator Training begins, a proposal that invites the development of a new way of educating focused on caring for life, human bonds, and people's potential. Location: Vitoria-Gasteiz.

The Escuelas de Biodanza of Vitoria-Gasteiz and Donostia-San Sebastián will open in September a certified training program aimed at professionals in education, health, and intervention. The training, structured in three in-person modules, is aimed at teachers, educators, health professionals, psychologists, social workers, Biodanza facilitators, and all those interested in incorporating the Principio Biocéntrico into their professional and personal practice.

The program proposes an educational vision that goes beyond the transmission of knowledge, offering tools to foster processes of learning, coexistence, and transformation in educational centers, organizations, social projects, work teams, and communities."Educating is also about creating bonds, awakening human potential, and generating conditions for life to flourish."

The proposal features the participation of international Didactas who are leaders in Educación Biocéntrica, and is part of the academic development promoted by the Universidad Biocéntrica.

A training journey that seeks to integrate education, affectivity, and human development from the Principio Biocéntrico, an approach created by Rolando Toro Araneda, the creator of Biodanza.

1st Module: September 12th and 13th. Concepción de la Educación Biocéntrica, epistemological framework, Categorías de la Educación Biocéntrica, and Método Integrativo Biocéntrico.
2nd Module: October 17th and 18th. The pedagogical experience of Educación Biocéntrica (Juegos biocéntricos, techniques, dynamics, and more…)
3rd Module: November 14th and 15th Círculos de cultura, Rituales de vínculo, role of the Educador/a Biocéntrico/a, and Aplicaciones.

– The course will be developed using the Método Integrativo Biocéntrico

(reflection – dialogue – experience – action), characteristic of Educación Biocéntrica, and with the following schedule of generative themes:

- Concepción de la educación biocéntrica. - Theoretical and epistemological references. - Categorías de la Educación Biocéntrica, developed over three decades of study and practice in Ceará(Brazil). - Método Integrativo Biocéntrico, reflection, dialogue, experience, action. - Biocentric pedagogical processes, pedagogical experience, biodanza, group practices, and group process in Educación Biocéntrica. - Aplicaciones de Educación Biocéntrica, weaving life with art, mysticism, and science.
