The incident took place this midday in Oreitiasolo, specifically on Venta de la Estrella Street, just after exiting the Guillermo Elio Molinuevo roundabout. The vehicle was traveling towards Olarizu and was transporting waste, reportedly en route to the Gardelegi landfill.

Upon leaving the roundabout, the truck overturned, scattering its cargo across the lanes heading towards Salburua. By 4:00 PM, the truck remained overturned at the scene, and a second truck had arrived to begin the process of collecting the spilled waste.

Regarding traffic, one lane in the direction of Venta de la Estrella, where the overturned truck is located, has been reopened. However, traffic in the Salburua direction will remain closed for some time, as the waste cleanup operations are expected to be lengthy. The truck driver was evacuated by ambulance to Txagorritxu hospital.
