The Chamber of Álava has opened applications for a new edition of its free program aimed at individuals under 30, focusing on practical training, mentorship, and job opportunities.

The Chamber of Álava is once again offering a free program for young people under 30 who are unemployed or wish to develop a business idea. Following the positive reception of its previous session, this initiative combines personalized guidance, hands-on training, and access to employment opportunities, catering to both aspiring entrepreneurs and those seeking waged employment.
From June 22nd to July 3rd, selected participants will engage in the in-person course “From Idea to Business Reality,” comprising 50 hours of training held in the mornings (9:00 AM to 2:00 PM). During this period, they will learn not only how to build a project from scratch but also how to enhance their professional profiles and prepare for the job market.
Furthermore, the program includes individual tutoring sessions, mentoring, and access to a job bank, serving as a direct gateway to both entrepreneurship and the labor market. Anne Campo, a former participant, successfully secured a position at Baskonia-Alavés through the program and continues to work there.

"The program helps you to know yourself, define yourself, and learn how to sell yourself in the job market"

Anne Campo · Program Alumna
The program begins with intensive, practical training in business management. Over two weeks, participants will cover key aspects of understanding how a business operates and how to bring an idea to fruition. Topics include entrepreneurial mindset and strategy, finance and funding, taxation, the entrepreneurial ecosystem, digital marketing and sales, communication and investor pitching, and business models.
The focus is practical, designed for immediate application, whether the goal is to start a business or find employment. The itinerary aims to assist each participant in finding their professional path, either by launching their own venture or securing a job opportunity. Individual support through personalized tutoring and sessions allows for tailored work on specific cases, from developing business ideas to improving resumes and preparing for selection processes.
Eligibility requires participants to be under 30 years old, unemployed, not currently studying, and interested in working or starting a business. Participation is entirely free, funded and co-financed by the European Social Fund.
Following the full enrollment of the previous edition, the Youth Entrepreneurship Itinerary is offering 20 new places for young people in Álava. Launched in 2015, this program has provided guidance and training to over 500 young individuals, forming part of a broader strategy to boost youth employment in Euskadi.
