This natural site in Álava features a circular trail of about five kilometers with minimal elevation gain, making it an ideal outing for families. The path runs alongside a canal that irrigates the orchards of Antoñana, accompanied by the soothing sound of the Sabando river.
The highlight is the Aguake waterfall, which cascades between limestone rocks. For the return journey, hikers can follow the riverbank, enjoying views of the Izki mountains before heading back to the town of Antoñana.
While it is a destination suitable for any season, visiting after rainfall is recommended to better appreciate the water flow. It is essential to wear appropriate footwear and respect the local flora and fauna to preserve this ecosystem.
