The Museum of Fine Arts of Álava has brought together for the first time four major series of etchings by Francisco de Goya in the exhibition ‘Fantasy and Reason’. This is the latest collection presented by director Sara Gonzalez de Aspuru before her retirement.
Meanwhile, photographer Ivan Martin Suarez seeks the language of movement in his work. Martin was selected as the regional winner for Araba with his project 'Dark' in the 'Argazkia.eus' competition, for his series of images about Juan diaz de Garayo 'Sacamantecas'. He has attempted to recreate the period's atmosphere using old photographic techniques.
Steps towards the Basque language adoption in the Basque Country are also featured in the 'Iruditan' section.
