A fire that broke out in the afternoon at Aernnova's plant in Berantevilla's Lacorzanilla industrial estate was extinguished approximately an hour after its onset, following the evacuation of workers.

The fire started around 4:50 PM at the Aernnova facilities, located in the Lacorzanilla industrial park in Berantevilla. Specifically, it affected the paint shop of this aeronautical sector company, situated in an adjacent building to the main factory, which has been completely incinerated.
As a result of the incident, all employees at the plant had to be evacuated. Sources from the Department of Security have confirmed that no personal injuries were reported, despite the smoke spreading throughout the rest of the facilities.
Firefighters from the Espejo and Iruña de Oca stations quickly responded to the scene. They managed to control and extinguish the flames shortly before 6:00 PM, although personnel remain on-site conducting ventilation tasks.
Company sources have stated that the extent of the material damage caused by the fire is currently unknown.
