One of the most significant sporting events in Álava will begin with a 1.9 km swim in the Ullibarri-Gamboa reservoir. This will be followed by a 90 km cycling stage through the villages of the Llanada Alavesa, and will conclude with a 21 km run through the medieval 'almond' district of Vitoria-Gasteiz.
This competition has become a benchmark for the first week of June. As it takes place on a Saturday and runs through the Casco Viejo in the afternoon, it creates a spectacular atmosphere in the streets of Vitoria-Gasteiz.

The men's start will be at 12:30 PM and the women's at 12:33 PM. The first triathlete is expected to arrive around 4:10 PM, with the last finisher around 8:30 PM.
The swimming leg will take place in Garaio, within the Ulibarri-Gamboa reservoir, with cut-off times of 1 hour and 5 minutes for men and 1 hour and 15 minutes for women.
The 90-kilometer cycling route, with an accumulated elevation gain of approximately 480 meters, will traverse the Llanada Alavesa, passing through towns such as Agurain and Alegria. The entry into Vitoria-Gasteiz will be via Elorriaga, and the T2 transition area will be located at the Álava Campus.
Finally, the running race will wind through the streets of the Medieval Almond district of Vitoria-Gasteiz over three laps, starting from the university area, to cross the finish line on Fueros street. The challenging climb of the Cuesta de San Vicente will be a key point.
The organizers will distribute 10,000 euros in prize money among the top five finishers in the overall category.
