Basque Government Allocates 300,000 Euros for Cultural Promotion

The Basque Government has approved a direct subsidy of 300,000 euros for the Bihotzen Konkista project, aiming to boost concerts in Barcelona and Madrid and project the Basque language and culture outside Euskadi.

As reported by the Executive after its meeting in Bilbao, this financial aid is allocated to the Bihotzen Konkista project, which seeks to gather thousands of people and offer a comprehensive cultural experience centered around the Basque language. The Barcelona concert has already taken place, while the Madrid event is scheduled for the coming days.

Furthermore, the Governing Council has also authorized a two-year extension of the Botika etxean eskura project. This initiative, in collaboration with the Provincial Council of Álava and the Official College of Pharmacists of Álava, will allocate 190,000 euros to ensure home delivery of medicines to residents in the Añana and Montaña Alavesa regions, thereby improving their pharmaceutical care.
