The season for dantza suelto championships has begun, and in this initial competition, dancers from Azpeitia have emerged as the main victors. The winning couple has confirmed their excellent results from last year, starting the season on a high note.
Eight couples participated in the 33rd edition of the Estíbaliz Dantza Suelto Championship, organized by the Álava Dancers' Association. The jury determined that the Azpeitia couple was the best, and they also received the award for the best costume.

In the same competition, another couple from Azpeitia secured third place. Furthermore, in the 33rd Aurresku Championship, also held in Estíbaliz, an Azpeitia dancer achieved second place among six participating couples.
