This event aims to help students explore the wide range of training options available and make informed decisions about their academic and professional futures. Morning sessions, from 09:00 to 13:30, are reserved for school groups, while afternoon sessions, from 16:00 to 20:00, allow students to attend with their families.
Professionals from Hetel and Ikaslan Araba will be on hand to answer questions regarding access requirements, career opportunities, employability prospects, and subsequent academic pathways. To ensure all interested parties can attend, the number of available places is increased annually, and those who have not yet registered can do so via www.avanza.eus.
A talk for parents will be held again this year, following the success of the conference in the previous edition.
Following the success of last year's inaugural conference, a dedicated talk for parents will be held again. This session will take place on Tuesday, April 21st, at 19:00, in the Gasteiz Room of the Europa Congress Palace. Attendance is free but requires prior registration through the Avanza website.
The conference, titled Acompañar sin presionar: claves para apoyar a nuestros hijos en la toma de decisiones (Accompanying Without Pressure: Keys to Supporting Our Children in Decision-Making), will be delivered by Silvia Ortiz, an educational counselor with over 20 years of experience. For the past five years, Ortiz has worked at Berritzegune Nagusia, focusing on training and supporting Secondary Education counselors.
The Avanza Vocational Training Fair, organized by the centers of the Ikaslan Araba and Hetel networks, is supported by the Vice-Ministry of Vocational Training of the Basque Government's Department of Education, the Provincial Council of Álava, and the Vital Foundation.
