One of the year's most awaited gastronomic events, the Pintxo Week, is back in Vitoria-Gasteiz from June 4th to 14th. Twelve establishments from Álava will compete by offering their finest pintxos to the public, each priced at 3.5 euros. This event provides a perfect opportunity to organize culinary routes and judge the skill of local chefs.

Following a competitive semi-final held at the Mendizorrotza Hospitality School, where 16 chefs presented their dishes, the jury has selected the 12 finalists. Here are the venues you can visit and the creations you can savor:

The competition, promoted by SEA Hostelería and Miniature Cooking Experience, aims to boost the talent of local bars and invigorate the hospitality sector. After ten days where the public will be the main judge, the grand finale will take place on June 17th at the Peña Vitoriana, where the 12 restaurants will once again fire up their stoves to compete for the title of best pintxo in Álava 2026.
