Individuals looking to acquire, rent, or renovate a home now have a new point of information and support in Vitoria-Gasteiz. The Provincial Council of Álava has opened the Comprehensive Housing Office, located on Landázuri street, which will centralize advice on the region's housing programs.
This new facility will be staffed by technical personnel from the Álava Development Agency (AAD) and will collaborate with the Territorial Balance Department. Its operating hours will be from 09:00 to 14:00.
The office will provide details on various measures, including Rental Guarantees aimed at mobilizing housing in municipalities with fewer than 20,000 inhabitants; Purchase Guarantees, which assist individuals under 36 years of age in acquiring their first home; and aid for the renovation of habitual residences in rural areas.
Additionally, information will be available on subsidies for local councils to acquire or renovate properties for social or protected rental housing. Tax deductions, such as those for renting or purchasing a primary residence, will also be covered.
