The professional La Blanca Pelota Tournament, supported by the Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council, will take place from August 5-8 at the Ogueta fronton, coinciding with the city's festivities. A total of eight pairs will compete in two modalities, with the champions being decided on August 8.
The semifinals will be played in the afternoon: the first on Wednesday, August 5, and the second on Thursday, August 6, both at 5:30 PM. The event, along with four other professional pelota festivals scheduled in Vitoria-Gasteiz until 2027, has the municipal backing.
The tournament details were presented this morning at a press conference held at the Vitoria-Gasteiz City Hall, attended by Ana López de Uralde, Councilor for Sport; Joserra Garai, CEO of Pelota Pro Liga; and Alfredo Alonso, director of Caixabank's business area in Álava, as well as the participating pelotaris.

López de Uralde called on pelota fans and citizens to come to the fronton, assuring that "the spectacle and passion are guaranteed".
The first Serie B semifinal will feature Amiano – Landa against Zubizarreta IV-Aranguren. This will be followed by the Serie A match between Laso-Albisu and Larrazabal-Mariezkurrena II.
In the second semifinals on August 6, Serie B will see Murua-Eskuza face Rekalde-Gabirondo. The main event will be the Serie A duel between Altuna III-Rezusta and Zabala-Zabaleta.
The winners of the elimination rounds will compete in the finals on Saturday, August 8, starting at 9:15 PM at the Ogueta.
